The car: 97 Integra GSR turbo, will have mid/ high 4xx whp at the track.

Cutoff at 8500 rpm, here are the tranny ratios.

The goal : mid 11 seconds, as close as possible to 130 mph.

The slicks must be 15 " to clear the ITR brakes.

I was thinking of getting 15x8 Diamond or Bart wheels with 24 x 9.2 x 15 M&H slicks.

What do you think ?

 

M/T 24.5x8x15.i had the m&h you are speaking of and had big traction problems.i am using 26x8 goodyears now and traction is not a problem, but clutch is.once i get the right clutch,it will be axles.i think the m/t are the best to go with.

 

I chose the MH 24.5x8.5x15 to clear my ITR brakes on my EK. I have the Weld Drag Pro rims. FYI-I got them from a domestic dealer for about 100 less then any other import specialist. The ITR pattern ended up being the same as a domestic one is.

you had traction issues with 9.2 " wide M&H , and you recommend me 8" wide M/T is that correct ? Could you explain why ?

 

they are much stickier(sp) and .5" taller

 

i am going to get some 24.5 x8x15 soon too

i have 22x8x15 right now and they suck.

i got 357whp at 16psi so hopefully the 24.5 will be good for that

Did you use the right size rim, that M&H recommends?

 

i had 15x8 bogarts.the tires never got sticky at all.after 50 hard passes,the mold seem was just begining to start going away

 

If you go with the Mickey's get the C compound!!!

 

Ok I went to the dyno yesterday and produced 510 whp. Do you still recommend me the same size of slicks, or to go bigger ?
