Suspension Problems
Ok I have a '90 hatchback with tokicko blues and nuespeed springs. No camber kit. Everything was fine untill I did my b16 swap. After the added weight of the b-series alot of new problem showed up. Im trying to diagnose what exactly I need to replace. At about 55 mph the wheel shakes so bad you can barly hold on to it. The same thing happens under braking. I did try and look if I could see any visable damage and I found the the right tie rod boot is torn. Im wondering if anyone has had similar problem...? Would it be a good idea to replace all the ball joints..? HELP...the car is a pain in the *** to drive like this.
This might sound completely stupid, but maybe you need a wheel balance or to buy that camber kit. I remember I had a '70 volkswagen beetle that needed a wheel balance badly and the wheel would almost rattle itself off the colum.
i had the same shaking/vibration problem when i got my new Si rims, and i asked the guy to only put the wheel weights on the inside. would that be the cause of the problem? also it shakes extremely bad when i press on the brakes from high speeds (65+).
what could this be from?

When it shakes from the brakes, most likely your rotors are warped.
For the other guy, if you have bad balljoints, if still wouldv'e shook before the swap. I'm thinking along the lines of maybe your axles are too tight/the wrong ones.....did you remove the dust sheilds from the hubs and axles? Most b16 swaps you have to so the axles don't bind/shake.
