Default EXHAUST HELP!!!!!!!

I have a 1992 Honda Civic SI hatch. I put a DC header on my D16 and I don't have exhaust. Is that bad or do I need to get exhaust right away?? And would you also recommend a good muffler. Because i can get the piping back from a local shop for $140. Thanks for your help.

If you have your stock exhaust still on the car, then no you don't have to rush out and get a high-flow exhaust, although it will the complement the header well.

As for mufflers, well, I like my T1R. Spoon, Mugen, DC Sports, APEX'i, HKS, Dynomax, ES, and others make good mufflers too.

Its the best idea, kinda dumb to just buy a muffler. Might as well do the whole thing right. I just did an exhaust with a Tsudo muffler and 2.25 piping all the way back. Cost about $125 for the piping installed.

Custom mandrel bent piping with a Magnaflow can and a high flow converter.

I prefer an actual cat-back system, not custom...my opinion though.

Why not keep a stock look and get Integra exhaust. 94-01 B pipes are all the same. $191 brand new, direct fit, clean looking.

Do you mind if I ask why?

I like custom systems because you can pick the sound you want through use of specific mufflers and resonators, and because you can get mandrel bent piping that you know doesn't have a bottleneck or two.
