I'd look into some 310's or larger...I'm running 290's, and coming close to running at the max of the duty cycle.

I don't have much experience with that particular setup but hondata romeditor computes that 300cc injectors would be the perfect replacement for a B20VTEC setup with stock cams and compression. With the higher compression and lesser displacement I would have to say that 290cc should be perfect.

thats what im thinking, my compression would be around 11:1 with the block decked and the head slightly milled, and i plan on running a GSR exhaust cam with a CTR intake cam.

Why would a lsvtec need bigger than 240cc? ITR's run 240's and a lsvtec is not too much more power than that.

I have an ITR, running 290cc/min, running 11:1 compression...I have the injectors at over 80% duty cycle on stock cams...I'm of the opinion that unless you're going to raise the fuel pressure you will need to run injectors larger than 290cc/min.

What fuel pressure do you have your ITR at?

So then would you say that one could raise the fuel press to say 50psi and use 240cc injectors?

Stock ITR fuel pressure is 47-53psi, hose off. That's how they use the 240's on all of the B series engines, they change the fuel pressure as needed and change the injector duration in the ecu. I'm saying that you would need 60-70 psi to run the 290's...but with higher fuel pressures come additional issues...

290cc is the bare minimum IMO. If you are going to get Hondata, go with 370cc's. It's a lot easier to tune out fuel (with big injectors) than to add it if you have smaller injectors.

i think 290cc's are fine. it shocks me when i see so many people running huge injectors on thier motors. many people run 200whp with 310's with fuel to spare. the only time i've seen these b series motors need excessive fuel is when these expensive race headers are used. i don't know, maybe its me, but 290's should be fine. holla

With those mods 290 will be fine BUT you will mod for more power later so why replace injectors twice. I just got 350cc ones as I was maxing the 240's. I have standalone and so should you hehe
