Default Looking at a new daily driver

I'm looking to spend $8-10K on a new daily so I thought of a Prelude. I don't know much about them, so any advice would be appreciated. What years should I avoid if any, etc.

Thanks

If you really want just a daily driver, you may want to look at a civic. But if you want a daily driver that is also a ton of fun, especially at the track () then the Prelude is a good car for you to consider.

A very good condition 93-95 VTEC model (96VTEC is OBD2) would run you somewhere in the neighborhood of $4,500-10,000 depending on HOW nice it is. You can find some 97+ models for $8k, but usually they are pretty high mileage, and a little slower than a 4th gen.

Hope this helps, and good luck. Hope you make it into the Prelude 'family'.

I think your GER should make a good daily driver.

I'm selling the GSR because it has 160,000 miles and it's starting to nickle and dime with repairs. It's been a great car. I had a '94 GSR before it too.

So, I'm leaning towards another GSR (something $8-10K), but I'd like to get impressions of Preludes - I don't know much about them.

Get the GSR if you want a more practical car (i.e. a car with useable rearseat). Preludes are really just two seaters...well....atleast mine is. Get the Lude if you don't care about that.

Prelude is a better car than the Integra...but that is my opinion. That is the reason why I bought it.
