cel 8 keeps common on... what is it.. my book says top dead center something.. can anyone tell me how i can fix it. thanks

 

It is indeed the "Top Dead Center" sensor.

The TDC is a sensor in your distributor. You cannot purchase a new one by itself from Honda, and I'd not swap in a used one even if it's possible.

Basically you need a new distributor - period.

 

well... uhmm.. i am running a msd 6a with a blaster coil.. so the sensor is in the distributor and i have to replace the whole thing.... uhmm
