Default how much smoke is acceptable when driving hard?

i was driving to work this morning and i had to switch lanes quik and when i got on it kinda hard i could have sworn that i saw some sort of smoke inj my rear view mirror but i dismissed it. then i got on it again and looked in my rear view mirror again and i think i did see smoke it was kinda light gray bt it wasnt thick at all just a little hazy. it kinda bothered me cuz my car has never smoked before turbo. i was wonderng in turbo cars are they not supposed to smoke at all, or is any smke acceptable?

well right now im using 10W-30 castrol syntec blend. i dont know what i could switch to or how that would even affect any smoke. liek i said before its not a lot of smoke it barely caught my eye but just wondering what was the norm on turbo charged cars.

i have also seen smoke to a certain degree, but me personally i have never seen any and i have also not lost any oil in the 2500 miles i have been driving under boost. i run mobil 1 10-30 synthetic though, my opinion is th ebest there is except the amsoil turbo oils

yea i mean i can tell im runnign rich. when i let my car idle and i rev the motor upt to about 5000 rpms a couple of times u can see black stuff hit the back of my garage wall and it is starting to build up on my bumper a little i have to keep wiping it off when i wash my car. so i think thats the smoking i see. like i said its not bad but it did catch my eye early in the morning.

most people will agree, there are generally 3 types of exhaust smoke

-black... running rich
-blue.... oil
-white...coolant
