Walbro in-tank + DSM 450cc, FPR necessary?
Hey,
My fuel set-up is as follows: Walbro 255 lph high pressure intank, DSM 450cc injectors, Apex'i V-AFC II. Is a fuel pressure regulator going to be necessary to have a smooth idle and run a safe fuel pressure? Can I just control the pressure with the V-AFC? I read that the set-up I have when tuned runs very well on 7 psi of boost, I just need a second opinion. Thanks!

i had a problem now whit the hack, i have dsm 440cc,walbro 255 and fpr stock, the car dont have nothing iddle only black smoke"gas smoke" i have a AFC setting -50....i have a lot of gas....what is the problem???
First question: I also have walbro 255hp + dsm450's + stock reg on the hack, and all is well... so you don't really need one.
Second guy: You probably don't have your IN and OUT settings under sensor type set to 6 (both of them). I did the same thing, it kinda makes the afc not do anything. Set them to #6, and youll be fine, assuming you wired it right!
Good luck to both!
