car revs without pressing gas
i just put a odb0 ls motor into a odb1 integra when i start the car it just starts to rev even without the throttle cable on and its throwing no codes could the odb0 intake manifold caz this im puzzled any suggestions would be appreciated
changed intake manifold to odb1 and it works fine now whats the difference and what would cause for the odb0 one to rev the **** out the motor without the gas being pressed

This sounds easy. If the motor revs past 1500rpm with your foot off the gas, without going into "fuel cut" mode (about 1500 rpm), than the TPS voltage was not sending a "closed throttle" voltage to the ECU.....Swapping the throttle bodies or adjusting the TPS with the hard stop screw to the correct "closed throttle" setting, probably will fix this..... 3gdude
you r dumb if you would have read the post when i started it the car started reving i though it would cut off at like 2 grand caz the timing and the screw on the trttle body were adjusted so i would go up high and reved really fast to fuel cut off no **** its not good for a motor to do that ill go back in time and not start my car and change the manifold for you
actually i did read the thread and i understand at first it would cut off on its own at "like 2 grand" but you should just let it do that, at least have someone in the car just in case. I hope everything works out for you and that you dont have any further problems. I wasnt trying to flame you and I apologize if it came across that way.

had the same exact problem. i sprayed some carb cleaner around the areas that could possibly have a vacuum leak, found it in the intake mani.
took it off found some residue of the old gasket on there that didnt come off, scrapped it pout the i.m back on, no more high revving.
good luck tho
