Default CRX Brake Help

Hey people.

I was told you might be able to help me out. Got question about brakes.

I have a 2nd gen HF crx.
I just got new rotors and pads, installed them. Everything was fine for a while, then they started smoking a bit. the smoking went away, but now there's slight grinding noise coming from the front? Any suggestions on what might have caused this?

Thanks,
Steve

What kind of a grinding? And what kind of pads did you use?

A very light grinding is normal... the surface of the rotors isn't perfectly smooth to start out with, which helps the pads' surface get cleaned off when they're first installed. As the pads bed down, the grinding should go away. Only worry about it if there's extreme resistance to the wheels spinning without the brakes being applied
