here's the prob, lets see if we can diognose it, well i was thinking maybe the idle air control valve, but here's the deal it's a dx hatch converted to mpfi with a a6, cold air intake with two holes for something one has nothing connected to it, assuming one is a sensor to read o2 or something, it has a 2 1/4 ex. i believe and a pg7 ecu, i checked the oil, last time i had this prob, in my eg i had low oil pressure, but this time oil is fine, it idles between 1k and 1700 rpm at a stop light, it's very annoying, any ideas?
thanks in advance for the ideas

did you just convert it? Check the EACV. it's on the back of the intake manifold. Are you throwing codes? I had that problem when I converted my 89 DX. I took it to a shop and the tracked it to the EACV wire going to the wrong place. Thats what they said, I don't know why, but it was.
