Haven't seen these on the shelves in a while, but I could be completely out of the loop. The Wal-Mart in Garner has all grades, $18.88 a jug.

They also have Pennzoil and Castrol GTX for $6.88 per. They may have had Syntec, but I didn't check closely.

Just thought your budgets might appreciate any help they could get

 

Definately a deal and I have only found them at Wal-Marts having looked at other stores. Since I run Mobil 1 in three cars and GTX two more, I bought 4 jugs of Mobil 1 and 2 of GTX. Lots of money in oil but you know you'll use it over the long term.

A few weeks prior, I checked the same Wal-Mart and they had none explaining that it was simply a periodic thing that sometimes W-M gets deals on it and sometimes not. If you see this deal, jump on it when you can.

 

I've been purchasing my Mobil 1 at Costco, which is much cheaper than my local parts stores.

 

And a nice container to fill with the old oil too.

 

I'm all about them. They have them at my Walmart as well.

hell yeah...they've been on sale in my city for weeks!

 

Here in California (at costco) you can get a case of mobil one ( 6 individual quarts) for 22.83 + tax. Not too shabby, IMO.

 

The Walmart's in SoCal have them as well (5qt jugs). I paid $19.08 the last time I went.

 

I bought these before at walmart and went back and then they didn't have them. They are a deal when you can get them. I going to go check since I am due to change my oil. Thanks for the heads up.

 

Any chance they have 0w-40? I saw 5w-30 in my local one, but none of my weird weight.

 

Is there a 0-something else? I do recall seeing a zero weight. Grey label, no?

0W-30. Grey cap.
5W-30. Bl00 cap
10W-30. Gr33n kap.
15W-50. R3d kizzle

 

0w-40 is a black cap. The bottle is grey, like the rest of M1.

I mean stocking up. He had a cart completely filled with nothing but the jugs. At least 35 of them.

35? Thats excessive... unless he works at a small shop and doesnt move enough oil to get it in the big drums from Mobil.

 

Yup! I bought 2 about a month ago...

EDIT: And at my walmart they have PALLETTS of it... pallet of 10w30, pallet of 15w50, and pallet of 5w30

yep. Allison and I both were gawking. An entire cart with nothing but the jugs. piled high, overflowing. even used the tray on the bottom of the cart.
