I was planning to get an engine swap but i don't/can't get a job and i get some money from my parents that i could save up....I thought of 3 choices I have, one is to keep my stock engine and get vtec head, turbo, cam, exhaust etc, Or get d16 with vtec and turbo that instead Or just save up money for longer period to get that precious B16...I don't know what i will do and i just wanna hear your opinion thanks

umm b16s are only 15s dude... with some work 14s high to mid... i suggest u do that d16 vtec or a head swap and a turbo... u could see 13.8s with just 7psi of boost... my friend has one in a rex im doing mine in a hatch let me know if u need any help...

 

i understand that you get less time with d engine turbo,, but i looked at the hp, b16=160hp average d16 vtec= 125+ average
well im not sure what im gonna do but IS SOHC RELIABLE?? too many people told me its not, only b16s are the real reliable ones...true?

 

b16 has no torque. get a sohc vtec turbo and its also lighter too. ne engine is reliable as long as u take good care of it n keep it well maintnence.
