Does anyone know how good the k26 turbo is and if it would work good on a d16y8 engine. I have two turbos at home and wanting to drop a turbo in my civic but i am stuck pondering which one would be better the t25 or the k26? two much different sized turbos. Anyone ever used a k26? whats the results?

Provide me with numbers off the K26, and I'll try to gauge how/when/where it would spool on your SOHC VTEC based on what it came off of. The K26 is going to be a larger, and in my mind better, compressor than the T25's... just have to make sure it isn't too big on the hot side.

I also have some K26 compressor maps somewhere around... can plot to make sure it suits.

The K26 is much used on the 5cyl 2.2 audi 20valve engines.
They make up to 380crank-hp.
There is a version "K26-special" in the Audi Rs2 for example...

On these audi 2230cc engines they give about 10psi at 2500rpm...

Does anyone know if it would work for a sohc vtec civic and if it would how much lag would their be, and what rpm would it be at full boost.
