Default good use for a switch

i have an idea. for all u who may need this sometime in your life, lets say at night ur going a little fast around town and u dont want to be caught, u know that light for your license plate? well u could rig a switch to that. its not very legal, but hey either are clear corner lights.

That will just get you pulled over. Unless you trying to hid it from other drivers and or pedestrians.

no hes sayin so you can turn your plate light off, so cops cant read it if you run, wich is dumb, no offence, but if you spped around on the street i hope you get caught, better then getting in an accident.

Why don't you just not speed or do anything that should get you pulled over. And if your doing something to get your pulled over, then you deserve it.

haha, good stuff.. knew a kid in college that had that.. a switch to shut off all his rear power.. no brake lights, tail lights, plate light.. wound up wrecking while running from the 5-0... kinda a good idea though if you do run i imagine.
Myself- done driving like a freak.. almost killed myself enough times.

maybe you've never noticed, but license plates are REFLECTIVE. this means that if its dark and the cops have their headlights on, it will reflect their light no matter what. you would be better off rigging up some way to have the plate rotate 180 degrees and have a fake number on the other side. i've seen this in movies before but it might be a lot of work.

on another note, i have considered having a switch for my brake lights so that if i'm speeding and the cop is radaring from behind, i can slam on the brakes and he'll just think he got a false reading. its always the brake lights that are the "red flag" to get pulled over.

lol this post makes me look like a criminal.

word, i have a switch too turn off all the lights except the headlights, i've gotten away 2 times by hiding, also my reflectors are no longer in, yes dangerous i know but i never park the car anywhere other then a open parking lot, or my drive way.. it does work, since the texas plates are white, u can just tape off the number spray the plate flat white, and untape the numbers you can't see it in the dark, lol.. on the other hand, i usually see them or hear my rader detector go off before the clock me
