Default best alpine amp to use?

i just bought an alpine type s 10" sub in a sealed enclosure that is 1 cubic feet. im not too sure if its a DVC or a SVC yet (either way i got a great deal so i decided to jump on it before time ran out on the auction). im wondering which alpine amp i should get to power it. i believe its a 600 total watt sun with 200 RMS. and its a 4 ohm SVC or dual 4 ohn DVC. i just want it to sound nice and clean. and i heard when ur using a sealed enclosure u need more power to run to it to get a good sound. so should i run 200 watts RMS to it or something like 300-400 watts RMS? thanks a lot!

any 2 channel alpine amp that is about the same RMS or a little higher than the sub would work fine. Type S's are SVC... but if you plan on possibly getting another sub down the road get a mono that's about that power RMS @ 4 ohms. This way you'll have the power to run both well

JBL 300.1 amps can be found for pretty cheap... And they're but it'll only work if your sub is DVC because at 4ohm it only puts out 150rms...

2ohm 300rms
1ohm 300rms

alrighty so i found out its a DVC...i think im gonna buy a JBL 300.1 and run it at 2 ohms... now with a dual 4 ohn voice coil it can run in either 8 or 2 ohms right? hopefully so cuz then i can run the 300.1 in 2 ohms at 300 watts RMS which is perfect.

You can do:

8 ohms = Series
2 ohms = Prallel

2ohm = 300x1RMS and the amp will run perfectly stable... Look for the amp on EBAY they're really cheap...
