need help (alpine type R's)
ok so right now i got a setup of 4 alpine type R's (6.5's) pic and stats below *btw its a multi channel amp*

RMS Power (at 14.4V, 20Hz-20kHz)
Per channel into 4 ohms: 50W x 4 (1% THD)
Per channel into 2 ohms: 75W x 4
Brigded 4 ohms: 150W x 2
now the question is since that amp is a multi channel can i use the amp show below which is a mono amp to run my 12" alpine type R subwoofer which has a power of 1500w and a power of 500w (RMS), is it possible to link my multi channel amp which puts out 200w (RMS) at 4 ohms and link it to the mono channel amp which is 300w (RMS) at 4 ohms and power it that way or am i looking at a more powerful amp. Alls stats posted below for Mono Amp and Subwoofer:
Note* picture looks like that one above basically:
(Mono Amp)
MRP-M500:
RMS Power (at 14.4V, 20-200Hz)
Per channel into 4 ohms: 300W x 1 (1% THD)
Per channel into 2 ohms: 500W x 1
(Subwoofer)

Power Handling
Power Handling Capacity (RMS): 500W
Power Handling Capacity (Peak): 1500W

Leave the 4 chan amp you already have for your speakers. While some amps are strappable, alpines are not. Do you have a Dual 2 ohm, or 4 ohm sub, if dual 2, wire it to 1 ohm, and sell the current amp, and look for a 1 ohm stable amp that puts out 750-1000 rms. Sundown SAE 1200, turn the gains low, and let it bummp
is their no way to link the multi channel to the mono channel:
either:
Brigded 4 ohms: 150W x 2 (multichannel) + Per channel into 4 ohms: 300W x 1 (1% THD) (mono amp) = which over powers by a little but thats ok.
OR which i dont know:
Per channel into 4 ohms: 50W x 4 (1% THD) + Per channel into 4 ohms: 300W x 1 (1% THD) = which is at just the right power.

Like I said, I have never seen or heard of someone bridging a 4 chann and 1 chann amp, I dont think its possible dude. Look at getting an amp that does 750-1000 rms at 2 ohms, i suggest Kicker or something.

i see what you guys are saying it is my mistake i can run the MRP-M500 to my sub at 2 ohms and it will run the sub perfectly at 500w RMS at 4 omhs.
You can not "strap" the amps, your mono amp is 1x500W RMS into 2 ohms, your sub is a 500W continuous DVC 4 ohm, wire the Subs VCs in parallel and you have a 2 ohm sub.
500W sub with a 500W amp, should work just fine, although an amp with a little more power, say 1x600W RMS into 2 ohms, [or 8 ohms] would give you more "dynamic headroom", if the sub is installed in a proper box, your Alpine amp will work.
I would be much more worried about using the 4ch amp to drive the two sets of 6.5" Type R Alpines, it is way underpowered for two sets of Type R speakers at 4x50W RMS into 4 ohms, Alpine 6.5" Type R Speakers are 100W continuous, [110W for the component set.
You would be better off bridging the amp into a 2ch and just driving the front speakers with it, and use HU power for the rears, [very little wattage is needed for rear fill] 94
