Default Engine help please

I have a 94 Civic with a D15b motor and it bogs out at cruising speed, and has lack of power. Anybody know what could be causing this?

Sounds like it's probably O2 sensor or heater control issue.

Please be more specific on the problem.

It's actually my cousin's car, he had me post this. He wasn't very specific with me, but I drove it today and it seems like there's something touchy. It'll go through fases or when it wants to be a wuss and when it runs strong. One day fine, next day who knows. He thought it was the distributer so he got a new one but it's still doing it. He's pretty sure it has something to do with a sensor. I don't really know how the car acts when it's acting funny, so I can't desribe it any better for you, sorry.

under the glove box theres a little green box that needs to be jumped with wire or paperclip to flash CEL code on instrument panel.

just do search for how to check CEL in the archives under eg+ forum...should work....

well the car will be getting a new transmission this weekend, it's been slowly going out since he's had the car. Could this have anything to do with it?
