how close is your B series alternator pully?

Default how close is your B series alternator pully?

just wondering how many people have the same problem my belt started squiking again so i tightened it up then start the car and it is grinding the alt. pully on the frame again i guess i will have to geta smaller belt tomorrow

probably didnt bang the frame enough. a smaller belt should work

i agree just bang up the bay a little more to give it more clearance, it should be fine

or if just get a smaller belt then you wont have to take the alternator off

mine was fine until i upgraded to a AEM underdrive pulley, found out the hardway it didnt have enough clearance when i hit second gear hard with the hood off, nice light show, after about 3 times of that happening it made itself the clearance it needed.
