Default Alternator Belt

I just recently swapped a b16 into my car, well last night i was just checking out how things were looking and noticed that the alternator belt is almost ripped to shreads. I put a new one on when i got the motor, checked to see if anything would be visibly cutting into it but i couldn't see anything above or below the car that was close to touching it. Possibly the wrong kind of belt???

Default Re: Alternator Belt (Civic_driver)

Make sure that the alt. is square with the crank pully. If the pully is off square by just a little it can rub one side of the belt and rip it up. Maybe thats it?
