ok heres my question my boy did a engine swap he had a 94 civic dx and he swaped it out with a b18 z i think its a 94 sohc vtec . so heres the question how would he get more hp and get faster.

 

THs is an extremely open ended question. ANd is pretty easy to figure out for yourself if you just read other posts. And a sohc vtec form a 94 is not a b18....z? THere is no b18z is there. Isnt it a B20z. But anyway, a sohc vtec from a 94 civic ex is a d16z6. Around 130hp stock, and there are plenty of things you can do to make it quicker. I/H/E will net you a couple horsies, through in some valve train and a camshaft, get a couple more. Or go turbo, and add a whole bunch.

 

ok what is I/H/E i have no clue on imports more less hondas so some questions might seem stupid but i want to learn

 

I/H/E stands for intake, header, and exhaust. it's the usual bolt-on package that people start with for better airflow.
