Default the clearance issuesInstalled DC JDM 4-1, impressions...

Installed a DC JDM 4-1 sir header today. 2.25 collector, direct bolt-in. piece of cake. Hte setup is a GSR block, PR3 pistons, port/polished b16 head, ITR valvesprings and cams, B16 IM/TB, AEM CAI. Up to htis point i was using a DC 4-2-1 ricer header with a dent on the bottom. Took that crap out. (anyone wanna buy a crap header?) The 4-1 looks so much beefier. Had to grind and pound the crap out of my front cross-member (EF baby) to make it fit. Jesus christ, anyone ever try to put a crossmember back on by themselves? With the car on jackstands, pain in the ***. Anyway, besides the clearance issues (not even 3 inches, and my car is stock height!) i love it. More tourque, more top-end, meaner sound...beautifull. Best 250 bux ive invested. Definitely recomend it over the 4-2-1 ricearonni header. Dyno pending...

stock ride height= stock suspension? if so you're retarded. how much more do you think your engine setup weighs. there is no way you're at "stock" ride height still. anyways....yeah the header is pretty good.

The DC 4-2-1 is rice. the 4-1 Dc type R header has a 2.5 inch collector, the sir header has a 2.25 collector.

His point is that if you're serious about all motor performance, you should get a 2.5" header and not a 2" that's going to hold you back.

2.25" and direct bolt-in? I think he has a dc 4-1 rather than the jdm 4-1.

Not a direct bolt-in, i had to bang the crap out of my front cross member. Its a JDM header, just not the type R, its an Sir.
