Default a/c condenser r and r

I am looking for tips and instructions on how to remove and replace
the A/C condenser on my 1993 Accord EX 2dr... The previous condenser
was damaged by a rock and I intend to replace it and then recharge the system...

Thanks in advance...

sweating in TX..

I'll be in dallas this Sunday if you need help. It's a pain if you don't have the right tools to make it easy. You have to get the belt, then the lines off, then you can loosen the 4 12mm bolts that hold it on. This would be a good time to convert to r134.

You don't need to do anything with the belt for replacing the condenser.... just remove the little crossmember or shroud over the top of the radiator area, remove any mounting bolts for the condenser (mine has 2 10mm), disconnect the 2 lines and it should slide right out the top

he is right once you disconect the ac hoses it should come out pretty easy .... remember to remove any pressure from the system if you have any freon left in there

and dont waste your time converting to r134a just use Freeze 12 it is a great replacement to R12 and it is pretty cheap too....

opps!!
I am use to people asking about the compressure. I messed up, it happens. The condensor is very straight forward, nothing too complicated.
