Default best 60fts worst compression readings

Well i went to the track last night and manages to knock off some good lights as well as to back to back runs w/ 60ft of 1.78 and 1.77 at 13.0 in my all motor hatch. Noticed the car was smoking pretty good on the way down the track. So i did a compression test this morning to see what the deal was.

I get 125 in number 1 150 in 2 and 155 in 3 and 200 in 4 So i added little oil to number 1 did another test and jumped to 145. Then my guage broke or something cause i couldnt read any other cylinder for compression guage wouldnt move.

Is it safe to say i need new rings? My bore is 81.5 and Im running 12.5 endyn rollerwaves w/ a lsvtec setup. What should i do? i plan on getting another ls block and sending it out to sleeve and go for more of a full race setup w/ like 14:1 compression in 85mm size maybe w/ a deckplate.

I want to still keep this setup running till at least next month and not have to dump to much money into it. Do you think i should be ok just re-ring the pistons and does endyn make a softer ring something i can make a couple passes on and they will be seated? Any help would be appreciated

get another gauge they are then few bucks. I personally have 3 different gauges all read different numbers, some are off by 30psi from the other. but all seem to show the spread, which usually the same on all gauges.
also just to add, 20psi from just adding oil is not really all that, you should look into valve train issues, even better perform a leak-down test.

Hey Abe..... Whats up, its Mark. I did notice a lil smoke on some of your passes wednesday. I have a leak down tester if you wanna do a leak down test on your car. Just give me a call or email me.

Hey, what's up! Did you get a chance to dyno your motor? How high were you reving when this happens? Somehow I don't think piston rings would just go bad. Something must of gotten sucked up by the cylinders and scratch the walls in order for the rings to leak that bad.
