Does anyone know the final gearing on an 89 Civic EX (sedan) transmission? It has the D16A6 5spd. I may get the whole car if I can get it cheap enough, but I just want to know what the gearing is; if it is DX or Si gearing. Thanks.

Really. I've never heard of an 88-91 EX before either... I kinda freaked out when I seen it. I know with the EG EX and Si's have the same final but a different 5th gear. At least I think so.

 

there wasnt a 88-89 EX only offered in 90 and 91 for the 4th gen body style...

 

std hatch, dx hatch, si hatch
dx sedan, lx sedan (supposedly some had rear disc)
wagon...whatever the wagon came as
