can u mount a magnaflow offset/center muffler backwards??? will it still work the same?
magnaflow makes mufflers in offset/center style but not in center/offset. my buddy was talking about using it backwards to have the center conecting to the pipe and the offset facing outwards. i told him i dont know if the mufflers can do that and still perform how they are suppost to. does anyone know?

also does anyone know where i can find the prices for these mufflers
i want to know how much the oval ss muffler is compared to the universal oval stainless steel.

A. I'm pretty sure you can NOT do that... they are baffled... so if it went backwards it wouldn't hit the baffles properly... I'd call or email them for a definitive answer...

can i use a dynomax glasspack as a resonator? there cheap... seemes like a deal for less then 20

you can use anything you want.... glass packs are pretty harsh though... they usually encourage the raspy popy angry bee sound.

ya thats what i hear. i think im gonna run a magnaflow turbo muffler with a test pipe. i hear that muffler is real real quiet just by itself. 2.5 inch piping

I believe all magnaflow universal mufflers are straight through with a perforated core and they can be used in either direction.

So I hear. I couldn't understand it not working if it was chambered but I don't believe thats the case. Mine is mounted how you specified and it works perfectly fine.
