Default Oil overfill?

What happens if you use more oil than you are suppose to? On the dipstick, the maximum oil line is past the top. I used 5 quarts of Mobil1 FUll Synthetic 10W-30. Are there any effects?

high oil pressure is rough on your seals... Pretty much if you put too much oil in, the extra oil will find a way out... You may see some oil leaking out hear and there...

Too much oil will cause a motor to spin a bearing. When the oil is overfilled air bubbles get formed. and the oil gets thicker and thicker.
