The only top end cleaners I've seen work at all are Chevron techroline and G.M. top engine cleaner. If your really looking to decarbon an engine, the g.m. TEC is the way to go. If your looking to maintain fuel injectors and intake tracts, use the Chevron product, or simply buy all your gas at chevron, you'd be doing about the same thing.
As far as STP oil treatment, I think all that stuff is good for is assembly lube! There are way too many other choices in lubrication, that are more advanced and flat better to run in an engine. If you want to reduce wear and friction, go with full synthetics, they burn alot cleaner than an engine with STP in it too!!

GM's top engine cleaner knocked my NOX's down and got me to pass smog. Good stuff.

I like the Lucas products very good stuff in my eyes plus have used the oil treatment in many cars with great results.
