what weight of oil for turbo motors?

Default what weight of oil for turbo motors?

whats a good weight to use when your motor is turbo'ed?

is 10w-30 alright?

i use mobil 1 10w-30 and it works fine. i change oil every 2,000 miles. as long as the oil can flow freely through the turbo.

I use 10w30, it's fine. You're in houston so I wouldn't go any lower than 10w30, I had a problem with my motor burning up 5w30 like crazy in the summer.
