Default b18b auto tranny any power difference?

I know that a b16a that came originally with an auto tranny is a little weaker then the ones that come with the 5spd, i think the cams are milder. So my question is, does a b18b integra with an automatic make less powerthen a b18b that came with a 5 spd tranny, or are they the same hp wise? Thanks

Exactly. It's the same exact motor with a different ECU and some interior stuff (guage cluster, center console, etc). Also some wiring for the automatic transmission control box thing won't be there, obviously.

The automatic will make less power per se on a dyno just because you will have more friction loss through the automatic tranmission. Other than that, it's the same. The 5-speed will be faster because you can shift faster than the automatic can.

(Don't get all technical and say you can't shift faster than an automatic, because I know it's true, but it will engage gears faster with a manual transmission).
