i cant find the info anywhere i did a search. can someone clarify what CARB LEGAL really means? does it mean that i will pass smog? or does it mean i get tested differently? anyone have a link to the greddy kit specs for that motor?

 

If it's certified for CARB, it means you will pass the visual inspection, granted you haven't altered the kit in any way. If you add an intercooler or BOV, that voids the CARB exhemption. Your Smog station attendant may not care as long as you have the CARB EO's, but a state referee will know what all is included in the CARB exhempt kit.
