What will it take to run skunk2 stage 2 cams?
i didnt know skunk 2 made d series parts?
anyways...search is your friend, but i feel nice today.
youll need valve springs, retainers, cam gears, and TUNING.
all that is to have them running properly.

As stated above, you do need valvesprings/retainers and adj gears are a good idea to tune for maximum power.

I haven't heard of any results for the D series cam yet. I'm wondering if the numbers are any good.

D series is still in R&D as far as S2 and S3.
Skunk2 D series stage 1 is avail.
And, yeah, for stage 2.... tit. springs and ret. are strongly recommended, idle will still be streetable with a decent tune you can do yo'self.

With no tuning, my stage 2's idled just like stock, rock solid at 800rpm. They're for sale if anyone is interested.

You are correct sir. You can make good power with them with stock compression but to get MAXIMUM potential out of them you will want to up the compression.

Ok so far i have seen that no one have not answered your question, but to answer your question, well if you ae going to be running stage 2 cams from skunk to, Yes you can run them on a stock head with stock valve train but it is not recomended, If putting skunk 2 stage 2 cams it is HIGHLY recomended to do the whole valve train, meaning to buy the skunk 2 valve, spring and retainers, plus doing and completeing this process of the skunk 2 valve train is perfect for an all motor aplication, especially if you want to red line past 8grand, have fun!

Yup JUN EK9 answered his question and the rest just added in about the compression. He can barely type english so I'm sure this "El Nano1983" guy can't read it.
