Should there be a bolt where it's circled? I got some tranny work done under warranty about 8 months ago so I think that's when they forgot to put it back. Any ill effects that might have been caused by this missing bolt?

ya, they didnt put that back in.
Acura screwed me over on that bolt too

 

if they went into the tranny then i believe that is the reverse shaft bolt...

 

no ill effects... but that mount has three fastners holding it to the tranny.

the one that is missing is a 17mm (socket) bolt.. the other two are just nuts that screw onto the studs that are in the tranny.

 

that thread can easily be stripped.. i stripped mine.. wasnt even trying to tighten it very hard. they mite have done it to u also.. but its not important.

 

I dont know....I would think all the engine mounting bolts are important.

 

Acura broke mine like a year ago....same spot, diff bolt. My car is still together..

 

isn't that where you should mount a turbo?

 

On almost any Integra trans that has every been removed and reinstalled with a air gun, that bolt pulls the threads out of the trans case if over torqued. Heli-coil and new bolt should fix it.

This is why you should always double check warrenty work on your car. Of course it helps to know what you are looking for.

Check that I've heard that at some other integra forums

 

Motor mount bolt, theres 3 bolts there for a reason. Looks like they stripped it to me as the metal is shiny in that area. I'd have them fix it if they were the ones that messed it up personally.

However, it probably wouldn't make a difference if they replaced it or not.
