Hi. I recently purchase my 95 teg a few weeks ago and this weekend while I was attemping to clean the engine bay I found a missing bolt. It's on the tranny mount and I've attached a few pictures if anyone can help. I need to know if I can replace that bolt or did it break off. Thanks

 

I can't really tell from the pictures if the stud/bolt is snapped off...but that is definitely something I would look at fixing.

 

yes if it is just missing (highly doubtful) just take the mount off and tighten in a new stud....if not have fun drilling that out

 

yea thos bolts are hard as ****.....that sucks

 

the other bolt is a wrong bolt too. It should be a bolt with a washer attched too it

 

looks like someone had different mounts in there before and put the stock ones back on. you might want to take it up with whoever you bought it from.

 

thanks for the responces... one more thing, would replacing the tranny with a gsr one be a better option or just drilling the stud that I'm assuming broke off out and putting a new one in. I will be giving the previous owner a call soon and find out wtf they were doing... thanks

 

I missing that bolt to, dont worry about it. Mine has been out for 2 years.

 

honda fucked mine up and stripped that bolt hole, they let it go until i recognized it . i said something ands thye retapped the hole like new .
