Which Tranny to use???
I tried to search but you can't use DX or SI in the search. So finding a topic w/ them in it is a BI@tch. I had no luck searching.
I'm not sure which will suit me better a DX tranny or an Si tranny? I know i've read about both being a great choice and the differences at one point in time, but can't find the D@mn info again!
So i'm now posting and looking for input.
which to use? DX or Si
Oh, and yes it will see track time, i preffer autoX or road race over Drag, but i want to find the one that works for both, if thats possible?

go all the way to the bottom, you'll find the gear ratios of the hf, dx, and si trannies. notice that the only gearing difference between the dx and si is the final drive.

You want all out performance in a D-series tranny? Look into a ZC/Si hybrid tranny: ZC 1-4, Si 5th and final drive.
You get better spaced ratios and acceleration oriented gearing while maintaining a highway cruising gear that is tolerable.
