Damn, my Check Engine Light is on!
I don't know what happened. My car is completely stock with no modifications whatsoever. I checked the code number and it ended up being code 90. What does that mean and will warranty cover it??

It is "Evaporative Emission Control System" This sometimes happens if you fill your gas tank while the car is running. It happened to my 98 ITR when the evap can, mounted on the firewall, fell off during a hard run. It landed on the axel and wore a hole in it. Look at the firewall on the passenger side of the car and see if it is still there, or if anything is a miss.
i wouldnt worry about it.. mine threw a code right after i broke it in.. one day coming back home from work.. i bone out on the fwy on ramp.. go maybe up to 7K at the most.. shut it down in 4th.. and light is on.. check codes.. (thanks gas cap code, missfire on cylinders 2-3-4 then after dealer looked at it he said they have no clue why the missfire would show up.. btw.. the car didnt feel any different.. no bogging, sputtering.. ran the same that it does right now.. so maybe just a false alarm
Thanks for the replys guys. Well, the Acura dealer by my house is a ******* dumbasses. They said that there is no such code and that it was probably due to some modifications. Another thing, the dumbass was teaching me how to put a ******* gas cap on properly. Do I look that dumb?(rhetorical question) For another, I've never filled gas without the engine being shut first and I ALWAYS close the cap within three clicks. First of all my car has always been stock, so why the hell do they keep bugging me. Is there a way you could fix this problem yourself? How does the evap can look like; and cost? Do any of you have pictures of the evap can so I can see if its there or not?? I've already done the gas cap thing. Once again thanks for your help.
