Dude, ya gotta use the search.

I just used the search and found many many links to what you want to know.

Type in whatever and click, rather simple.

Its not like your first day here either, "member for 112 days."

No. You don't have to buy a wiring kit.

I just tried the method of trial and error to make my antenna work. What you need to do is either cut off the end of your stock antenna cable or get an extension and cut the female end off. I'm not sure if the stock cable is long enough to reach though. Then you do this:

I suggest buying the extension. Then you don't have to modify OEM parts. Heres what you would need then:

http://www.weisd.com/store2/HRDPCR-18.html

Key is that the cable is of a "Motorola" type connector. At least thats whats in my 2000 ITR.

Here are instructions for the rest of the mounting kit. http://www.bseries.net/html/garage/s2kantenna.php
You need a metric course thread die if you're going to follow these instructions.

Btw I have never found good wiring instructions for the s2000 antenna.

I spent 20 minutes searching for wiring instructions, and never found it. Looked through maybe 20+ topics under the search word s2000.

Chris (RSToR) is a nice guy and great service! (very helpful!) and I recently did my Insight conversion with Chris's kit! (check my posting) well worth it for $17.

I got my Insight from dealer for $37.XX CDN. which is about 20-ish USD. S2K is about the same price.

Doesn't it run for $12 at the website that begins at handa(parts something.com) Also Sil2civic, wouldn't your car look better with the black stripped.

I would show a pic, but WTDR is down for me. My boyfriend's brother shaved where the factory antenna was and removed and plugged the wiper blade hole. He put the S2000 antenna in where the wiper nozzle is on the back of the car. Looks better to me than in the factory spot. Wish I could show it...
