Let's break down my timeslip for a moment.
Alright, here's the deal. I've got a 1993 Si with 240,000 miles on it. She's got an MSD SCI, MSD Blaster coil, MSD distributor cap and a K&N filter on the end of the rubber intake tube (it was free
). I went to the track last night with a group of friends (Dragway 42 in West Salem, Ohio) and ran a best of [altitude/pressure corrected] 15.8 @ 85.4 mph. Seeing as my car is set up for RR/AutoX, I was quite happy.
I was pulling horrible 60 foots on General Ameristar tires with about 40% tread (2.4's, 2.5's), no LSD, no swaybars, no weight reduction, etc. My question is: how do my times stack up against cars with equal modifications? I've heard of people pulling 15.5's out of their stock d16z6 hatches, but I always assumed that was with I/H/E, etc.
Comments? I also won the yearly burnout contest because I chirped my tires and nobody had the ***** to challenge me in front of 100 people
. Huge trophy for me
