Default Is it safe to cut out my wheel well?

Hello,

I have an integra with a b16a swap. The suspension is **** right now, and im low on money. I'm on H and R sports on stock struts, but its still VERY dumped. The right front tire is tearing up the front right wheel well under my fender every time i make any turn left or right. Its start to mess up my tire really bad. Is it ok to cut out all of the interior plastic which makes the wheel well? The only problem i could think of is that I have AEM cold air, and the cone of that sits right behind the wheel well, so maybe water and stuff will fly up into that. Any advice would be great. I'm still saving to buy better suspension.

i think it's fine, but it'll get dirty quick. but for the intake side, you should leave that there, i heard of stories where the tire would chewed up the filter. both my crx & delsol, i had to remove the plastic portion when i lowered them, i feel for my car when i hear the scratching sound.

and...don't cut it, it's just couple of plastic screws to remove it.

Same here, you should do something about your AEM cone. And if you live in a place with alot of dirt on the roads or blowing around you will have the hardest time keeping your engine clean. Or if you hit puddles then you run the chance of throwing water all over your engine. Imagine a really hot engine then splash some cold water on it. I have seen engine blocks cracked from the people pressure blasting a hot engine with cold water. I would remove the plastic but maybe see about getting a fiberglass shop fabricating somekind of protection for your ride. Good luck
