Default More realiable Fully built H22 or H23VTEC?

I was wondering what would be the best way to go for a daily driver? A fully built H22 or H23vtec? right now I have a jdm block with a fully built head so I'm in the process of working on the block. I was thinking of swapping out the jdm block and get another h23 and work on that but wasn't sure which setup would be more realiable.

without a doubt the h22a is more reliable. You are fighting against physics spinning a larger crank at higher rpms than intended.

H22. You can sleeve and bore out the H22 if you want more displacement.

h23 and h22 use the same block, so you'd only have to swap internals.

You also have to tap the deck and deal with the oil squirters.

that's on LS VTECs...you don't need to do that on an h23 block the oil lines are already there you just have to open them up for VTEC oiling

Satan do you have a pic of which hole needs to be drilled out for the VTEC conversion?

What I'm saying is that there is no hole to drill out. there is a plug in the oil orifice that you just have to unplug to route oil to the head. I don't have a good pic of where that is...as far as I know it's part of the girdle?
