MAXrev manifolds: flange cutting question..
i've seen some maxrev manifolds w/ the flanges cut b/w the runners... i , myself have one, but it is not cut... my question is.. should i get it laser cut to avoid the flange from warping?? or should it be okay as is??? wish i had pics to describe it, but i'm sure most of you guys know what i'm talking about...
hmm I wonder why yours wasn't cut. BUt it would be a good idea as the tubing is stainless steel while the flange is not so they would contract/expand at different rates. It's a good precaution to take...
the first ones made were not cut, mine isnt cut either.
i talked to tinker about this and ffgeoff but i forgot ffgeoff's answer.
tinker doesnt cut his flanges on his equal length manifolds and he has good success so far.
