Default Question about clutch chatter

Well It really never occurs when i engage or disengage the clutch but actually when im just driving around i get this loud vibrating noise, sounds like its coming from the tranny, but im doing nothing with the clutch, just driving. What could it be ? It only happens sometimes, so I dont think it can be the dumptube or exhaust hitting anything....

Once the clutch is engaged it should not be chattering.. Maybe if its slipping it might.

Check all your motor mounts and axles to be sure nothing is loose.

that almost sounds like what i'm experiencing!

it's worse when the car's not fully warmed up...also, i hear very distrubing grinding noise...almost like metal rubbing on some other metal or something like that...

is my tranny slipping? or could it be a chatter?

i hear something like this too. I can hear a chatter when im idling letting the car warm up, goes away when i press the clutch pedal. I hear the same sound but louder around 3500 rpms sometimes. Hope its not detonation at 3500 rpms.
