Amp lost power. Help pls.
I was driving with a couple of buddies of mine testing out my new system. My friend turned up the volume really loud and the bass was really kicking. Next thing I know the subs stop working?? I go to the gas station to check what happened and my amp had no power. So I check the two 30 fuses and they seem fine and unbroken to me. Then I checked the connections and they are strong and the wires are in strong. I check the power wire that is connected to the battery and it is still connected as well. So what went wrong? Did my amp blow? Can it be fixed?
I was running a 2 channel 800 watt Pioneer GM-X972 to power 2 12' 1230w infintiy references in a sealed q logik box. Also I bridged them. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Check that the amp is getting constant power and is grounded properly. Maybe the remote wire fuse blew if it had one.
I see you are running two subs bridged of a two channel amp, how are they wired? are they Dual voice coil?

also, you never mentioned about checking the fuse(s) under the hood of your car. Maybe this fuse went out. Oh, and if you don't have one installed under there, GET ONE ASAP. A couple years ago my cousin tried a DIY install and didn't put the fuse in, and his Taurus SHO burned up in his high school parking lot
