look at this s2k... it's nice right? but please tell me what this guy was smoking when he decided to put a big front mount intercooler on his vortech supercharged car... i mean **** doesn't even look like it's hooked up.

Well a front mount intercooler is actually less prone to heatsock instead of water to air intercooler....

and he's not supercharged anymore..it's a Turbo....

exactly...DUC and SPUGEN are great people...this was a useless thread

 

if thats a rice boy then cook me some rice and throw it my way that car is tight and a intercooler for a SC has been done and does help I believe

dude this guy... he is an idiot. what is he thinking hating on a s2000 especially this guy, his car is one of the baddest s2000's on the streets. and yes that intercooler does work. He has put alot of time into his car, and the stickers are of his company, he is very respected within the car community so you talking down on him just made you a target for alot of hate. Just a lesson for you don't talk trash on other people or you will just create enemies for yourself for no reason.

 

Thanks for the props guys, well except for rice cooker. Let me explain here for a sec.

I did have it plumbed up with another front mount a few months back but the core was too thin so I got rid of it and got a thicker core. Since then I have not yet had the time redo the plumbing. I started this project hoping to get some good numbers for the Comptech SC guys who don't have intercoolers.

It wouldn't really matter if it was ricey (which it's not), where is the picture or artical of your car? Duc not only has one of the cleanest near completed cars in Cali, but this guy definitely does not make enemies. He is very respectful towards others (even when some don't deserve it) and that reflects on his business and the success and reputation it has gained.

Duc, I can't believe this guy would write such a thing about you or your ride. To say anything to or about a guy as respected as you tells me what an absolute idiot this rice cooker dude is. You have one of the sickest S's I know. Just pisses me off to read things like this.

 

I don't know what people's gripes are, but the graphics which are usually associated with a company are usually there for a reason which is promotional and not just to be flashy. Parts on this car are very tasteful and functional. Aside from that I understand that he cannot know the type of guy Duc is, but at least realize that the car is set apart from others in the group for the right reasons and not just cause of the graphics, but the quality of craftsmanship and time invested. No problem Duc, I have been on this board for a long time and I still hate the attitude of some people here who are new or that just follow the *** in front of them. There have been really good people I've met on here, but the bad ones are one reason I sold my hatch and Del Sol to build up an S.

Respectful, educated people who are into cars for the right reasons.
