Default Integra engine

Is there any exterior difference between GS-R and LS (or RS, GS) engines? I'm talking about year 94-01.

Diff valve covers, one says VTEC and has a silver spark plug cover and the other is just plain black and has no spark plug cover

is that what you were asking?

Yeah, that's is what I was looking for. Thanks. I'm considering buying either GS-R or LS. Even though I've already seen few Integras, I didn't notice the difference. If I'm not mistaken GS-R engine says VTEC with Honda Motor Co. and LS engine is just partially covered with black something(?).

the most easiest way to tell is to just pop the hood and look to the left of the header
B18C1 = GSR
B17 = GSR
B18B1 = LS,GS,SE,RS
B18C5 = ITR

EDIT: damn vap beat me to it, oh well

just look at the valve cover and then at the code on the engine. do both and check all the vin #s to make sure they are all the same.
