NOS solenoid#16020 junk????
NOS solenoid powershot#16020
This is the second time one of these solenoids has crapped out on me.
Here's exactly what they are doing.
Solenoid sticks open and continues to spray until you turn the bottle off (scary ****). Take the solenoid off, hook it straight to a battery to give it 12v and ground and it won't even click (open). NOS tech tells me that the natural state of the noid is shut, even if the coil is fried it will stay shut. They tell me the only thing that will hold a noid open is debris. I have taken apart both solenoids and examined them, clean as a whistle.... Anyone else experienced problems with these?
NOS tech told me that they are supposed to be rebuilt every year? I can't even get them to last 2 months!!!!!!!!!
Any input, I am losing patience and faith with NOS. Someone wanna reccomend another brand solenoid to work with my hondata nitrous controls? Thanks guys.
