Can a chip made for P75 OBDI go into a PR4 OBDI ECU?
Does anyone know the above? I have a chip from a P75, and turns out my LS is running a PR4 ECU. So can i put that chip into my PR4? Or am i better off purchasing a P75/P74 OBDI ecu? Any imput is appreciated. And if anyone has a OBDI P74/P75 for sale..let me know!
I say try it, and let us know.
I know the P28,p05,p06,p72,p75,p61,p30 will all run the same code.
Try it, the worst that I think will happen is you will get a solid CEL, and limp-home mode.
I have chipped P75s, PM me if ya want.

Thanks for the help PHIZ. Anyone else have first hand experience with this? I'm betting that it'll work....we shall see!!
just an update:
I chipped my PR4 and it doesnt' seem to be working out very well. Car is running VERY rich with the DSM injectors. It is almost as if it's not reading the ROM. It knows the ROM is there and will switch to it, but wont' read it.
Anyone have ideas?
