Any Supercharged GSR owners here??? Got a question
I did a search and didn't come up with much so hopefully you can help me out?
If so how was the install, any bugs that you had to work out?
Besides everything that comes in the kit are there anything else I should think of buying? (V-afc, injectors, ECU reprogramming)
Also got to ask anyone dyno it yet. According to JR their dyno showed 208hp and 153lbs tq to the wheels. Is that overrated or what??
Thanks.

Every, and I mean every JRSC that I have ever dealt with has been nothing but trouble. These chargers were installed by an authorised JR dealer so the install was not the problem. I honestly with my personal experiance(2 Type-R's, 4 B16A's, 3 GSR's and 1 prelude) cannot reccomend any of JR's product's, they are only popular due to EXCELLENT advertising.

Hmmmm.... So in another words JR is crap!!!! Wonder why, I've also heard alot of people say that when they install the SC it doesn't make as much power as stated, I mean if its 5 or 6 hp off its no big deal every car reacts diff but 10-20 is pretty bad.
So do you recommend going NA over the SC, turbo is not my first choice.

are planning on supercharging?
I would not supercharge any Honda because they are not meant for FI!!! simple as that!! it wil decrease the lfe of your engine. Also, if you get SC you also need clutch.
I would be happy with a good set of cams, gears and VAFC. You can get 20 whp with a good set of cams, at least GSR can with Toda B's or Jun C's.

Okay I used to OWN a SC'd GSR. I did the install myself. I'm not a mechanic, in fact the ONLY thing I had ever installed before the SC was an Intake. My automotive knowledge at the time of install was fairly minimal. The install went almost without flaw. The only problem we had was accidentally switching the MAP and TPS sensors at first. Once that was fixed the car ran like a dream. All I had was the Supercharger and an Intake. Neither header nor Exhaust.
The SC provided an awesome driving experience. I liked having the increased midrange. And the SC whine was without compare. I only sold it because I wanted to have a chance to hit 12s and have 300 hp. Turbo for me.
Was the car scorchingly fast? No. Was it fast enough to hang with 5.0s that had light mods? Yes.
Was it faster than the majority of Integras on the street? Yes.

Well not only can I hang with a C5 Corvette I can beat one. A mustang, no contest. The Z06 Ls-6 I can not beat, but I can "hang with it."

I am sorry if I sounded anti-FI on my first reply. Let me tell you now that at Utahs High altitude (5500 feet) the JRSC does not run good, nothing runs good but the Jackson seems to be affected the worst. We currently have 2 out of an uncountable # of JRSC'ed car's in the 13's, the rest tend to like low 15's to high 14's. These 13 second rides are 1. A 92-95 HB with a built B16A and JRSC @8 psi on slick's best time 13.7. and 2. A friend of mine running the infamous Endyn bottom end and JRSC @ 11psi he hit a 13.9 in his GSR with Full interior before grenading the motor. I am yet to be personally impressed, Look I run a 14.7 with an internally stock B18c5 with I/H/E and flywheel corrected that put's me in the 13's and the JR cars in the low low 13 to high 12's. We have a JRSC prelude out here that hates me because we run Identical times.
