Default Fuel Cut only at 6800 rpm!?!

What could be wrong? On D16A9 Fuel cut should be at 7600 rpm, what makes it drop to 6800? Sparks? Sensors? Etc? Only cold air intake is done so far...

Cold vs Warm/Hot rpm limit? Stock ECU's on the US cars have them as a safety measure, I imagine all OEM Honda ECU's encorporate something similar. For example, PM6 (90-91 D16A6) was something like 6800/7200 I believe. Not sure what exact variables (water temp, oil pressure, etc.) it looks at to determine when its good to go.

But if you're testing this right after or fairly close to just starting up, you should warm it up more.

I never rew up more than ~3000 rpm while cold! 6800 was on a warm engine. Today am gonna change sparks and fuel filter to new ones and if problem remains - gonna look for temperature sensor.. Thanks for Your replies
