Default Early Shifting!

I Just Got My B20Z In and running a P75 Ecu...I know that i could at least shift at 6200 without red-lining...but for some reason its making me shift at 5500 rpm's...anyone know why it would be doing this?...it wasn't doing this before and i am throwing a code 43...(fuel defective/malfunctoin)...but i don't believe that is the reason why my car is shifting early...anyone have any suggestions...?

well you should believe it if you're car isn't getting fuel its not gunna go somewhere it can't, consider yourself loved, usually stupid actions reap stupid reactions, instead your car is waiting for you to squirt enough fuel in there before it will let you go upto that wild 6200
suggestion: fix it

troubleshoot in a helms manual for code 43. you figure it may have something to do with fuel pressure but it may just be in your ecu.

yeah, your description of the problem, almost made it sound like it might be an automatic?

So how exactly is it "forcing you" to shift? Rev limiting?

Does a big arm come out of the dash and make you shift or are you looking at a shift light and basing your shifts on that? Will it not rev above 5500 no matter how long you keep your foot in it?
